Mobilizing for Jonkoping Municipality's Small Business
RISE offers in 2012 a new concept that will be tested in Kalmar, Blekinge, Kronoberg and Jonkoping. In partnership with regional councils and industry executives in municipalities organized meetings "matchmaking" in which companies have the opportunity to meet with specialists and researchers from an institution. It is planned at least one matchmaking in Jonkoping 2012.
The event focused on the needs of the companies specified, and experts in these areas will be sent there from any of the institutions in RISE, which provides the ability to respond to multiple needs within companies.
Region Councils in Småland and Blekinge has since more than a year working on improving support systems for business - innovation system. As part of this work, a collaboration with its various industrial research, brought together under the state's holding company, RISE, begun. www.ri.se
The efforts to improve the county's innovation system, through cooperation with RISE, will be implemented in 2012. This means that the selected companies in the county receive counseling, a needs analysis and a proposal for a development plan. Would it go mediated contacts with experts in various fields. Companies can also get help to find financing for various utvecklingsprojekt.Experterna retrieved from one of the more than 20 or so institutions that are part of RISE. Two of these institutions, Swerea SWECAST and SP, has offices in Jonkoping County.
- Our small and medium enterprises in the county now have a unique opportunity to advance their positions. The focus of RISE, along with other regional development projects such as VVV Forward and industrious, creates economic opportunities for major investment. Since the resources available, after all, is limited it is important to quickly get to the point if you want to be helped to develop their businesses and thus strengthen their competitiveness and profitability, says Conny Gustavsson, who normally is department manager at Swerea SWECAST.
